I presume the purple is Cadbury colour. We thought that Bourneville was disappointing to look at when we passed. Probably the least pleasant bit on that canal.
I think you're right about the colour. If you leave your boat on the secure mooring and walk a short distance you'll see some fancy moulding work on the Bournville Social Club.
